Some participants did their makeup at the staging area. These participants were from St. Joseph, Missouri and work in the haunted house industry.

Jamie applying blood to her throat...

Due to the whole glue and moss process, Mark had to do his make-up at home...

Mud from her yard was a big part of Jennifer's zombie-look, so she prepared at home as well...

These two participants were from St. Joseph as well. Look at the gentleman's pupils...special contact lens gave him a very creepy look.

Liquid latex wounds take a lot of time, but look really good once they are done.

There were big bottles and vats of blood being used at the staging area. Here, Becky Ray applies blood made with a homemade formula.

Jennifer, after the blood was applied...

I think the fact that so many people showed up, had everyone at the staging area in a great mood. You could feel the excitement.

Sarah was one of several "zombie-nurses." Here she is as she showed up, before blood was applied!

Alex had finished helping Sarah get ready, and here he is with Jennifer.

This was a "zombie-robot." Later, this robot was splattered with blood, and actually looked pretty frightening!

Jamie's collared throat was made extremely creepy with the addition of blood.

This impromtu head-wound on Dustin turned out great...
