MARK STINSON'S CONCLUSIONS

I think when you look at the Strange Events section of our investigation report, you find the sorts of events and experiences that other less skeptical groups call paranormal. We have a flash of light on our video camera...that we realize is a flash of light on the lens of our video camera from a ceiling light fixture. We have some EMF readings on the 3rd floor we can't explain, but we realize in an older building such as this, there is miles of unshielded wiring throughout the building. We have some anecdotal stories from the north end of the Nun's Hallway, involving knocking sounds, apparent footsteps, the feeling of being watched, and a sense of presence.

I grouped these experiences and events together in the Strange Events section for a reason. They are "strange," but not a single one of them really rises to the level where I would call it "likely" to be paranormal. Possibly paranormal, but nowhere near "likely."

On the otherhand, the
Active Chapel and Unexplained Voices sections contain the meat-and-potatoes of what makes the Strawberry Hill Museum such an amazing place to investigate. When it comes to hearing voices, we have not one...not two...but three different instances where investigators believe they heard unexplained voices either talking or singing. Three different instances over our 4-hour investigation. And in one of these instances, investigators on completely opposite sides of the huge building heard a male voice speaking at what appeared to be the same time.

While high EMF readings on the 3rd floor did not exactly amaze me, the high EMF readings we picked up in the Chapel were impossible to explain...and appeared to be free-floating and cut-off from any source of electricity. And these high EMF readings coincided in both time and space with the singing voice that I heard for a few brief moments while standing on one of the pews. These EMF readings also supported the strange EMF readings that Dave detected in the Chapel on our first visit to the Strawberry Hill Museum.

Without a doubt, we enjoyed this 2nd investigation at the Strawberry Hill Museum. Did we find conclusive scientific proof that the location is haunted? No. Did we find enough circumstantial evidence that we would like to return for at least one more investigation? Most certainly.
